The diameter is close to ones use on garage door spring/cable setups. I couldn't find them at my FLAPS. I cleaned up the current one and it looks serviceable. I think I'll use it for a while and try to find one at a swap meet where I won't have to pay shipping. regards, Leon

By the time you run your gas out at todays cost it may be cost effective to suck it up and just pay for something you can bolt right on.....just saying.
