I have a large (6000+) Chevrolet factory picture collection that I have converted from filmstrips.

I have the upgraded Flikr subscription so I can post them all if there is interest. Here is the first one (1950 More Power To You) it takes me some time to post these so let me know if you find them of value?

Brad -

Thanks for your work in posting. I really enjoyed the 1950 filmstrip - even the slide telling the operator to flip the record. The filmstrip has a wealth of detail pictures. I snagged a few and I'm sure that I will get more.

Brad, that was just great.

I'm sold on the new Chevs, and feel like a chump for having a '49, the 1950 seems so much more powerful!

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Brad, That is a terrific addition for info for all Stovebolters. What a huge undertaking by you. I really think that you should contact Peg and John and find a way to establish a permanent link to your work. Perhaps in the Tech Tips links?
Thanks so much.

I will send them the details. It was a long labor of love for sure. I purchased a collection of over 600+ films, almost all Chevrolet with the exception of 1949-50 Nash. They are all kinds, some technical others for salesman training. I have them broken into four main libraries, AD trucks, early 50's cars, late 50's cars/trucks and 1930's - 1940's cars and trucks. More to come as I drop them in I will post the updates here.

Excellent, Brad.

Those are the best instructions that I have seen on doing a Bendix brake job. The illustration of the parking brake parts connected to the rear brake shoes is better than in any Shop Manual.

Thanks,

Thats a good one Brad, Thanks.

Sometime ago I "think" there was a question about the hole in the body at the bottom of the rear barn door at the catch. The pic #0378 I believe answers that question as you can see the spare tire support is straight and the bolt that holds it goes straight up and through the body.....I'm not sure we ever confirmed this or not but...just saying.

Notice several other things to!!
Thank You again Brad. You da man.

Hey Alvin,

I actually have blanks of those 1950 forms shown in the film would you like one for your panel? I recently found an original 1950 salesman order folder with everything intact. I will post some photos of it to my site.
