You should be able to get a nice job with out seperating. I'd take the hood center strip off and do it seperate then after painting the hood put it back on. Next logical question is how do I remove the strip? Also I need inner and outer cowl panels for the cab. How big is the job? Can a novice such as myself do it or do I need to spend the money and let a shop do it.

I think it was Weeds that did some major work on his cowling and maybe the dash as well.
If you have some fabricating skills and can weld ect. You can probably do it. However, I chickened out and had a friend in the body business do mine and I have not regretted it. I guess you could say "go for it" just take your time and measure twice and cut once. | | |
