For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 725 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 725 | Made some real progress over the weekend on the '69 Panel. Got the new 31 gallon tank mounted and did some back end wiring and some sanding. It used to have "Carolina Surgical Supply" on the sides and back, but the drivers door has a survey company's name on it. Thats more than I've done the past few weeks. Keep at it pal. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 835 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 835 | Lookin' good Les. I was thinking maybe we could have a little raleigh stovebolt get-to-gether. We could use our cul de sac, I think we would have at least three, maybe four burbs/panels and a couple of pickups. PPlummer lives about a mile from me. Your about three miles, then there is Dave Norris in Holly Springs, and Raleigh58 in North Raleigh, and Dukedaddy (John) with a '51 burb in Garner. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,215 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,215 | Always good to make some progress. I recognize your panel from the calendar, looked at your truck for the whole month of February.
Be sure to have a good wad of cash when you fill that big tank. Good luck the rest of the way.

It will need to be after July 4th, as we are slammed until then.
Sure would be great if you could drive your panel up. Then we might have as many as 5 panels or burbs.

I got a squeeky PS belt and a loose engine or tranny mount and some noise coming from the rear end, but things arer a lot farther along than they were.
Best wishes,

I've gotta start gettin' ready for Denton now. I'll squeeze a little truck into the other stuff but I'm about done for a while.
