I found a guy in the next town over that has several old trucks laying around that would work for me. I stopped and asked him if he would like to sell a few parts. He promptly said no, I thanked him and went on my way. Now he has taken a gas axe to them and is just randemly chopping them up. Do I stop by again or just leave him alone? | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,971 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,971 | As long as he doesn't turn the ax on you, I don't see why it wouldn't hurt to ask again. You might want to ask about taking the whole truck though. | | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,393 Camp Commandant | Camp Commandant Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,393 | Or maybe offer him more than he is getting for them in scrap. Just a thought. Sounds like you would have to make it as hassle free for him as possible.

No sense spending extra money you can use for parts and gas. I took my son to B-ball tourny this weekend and did a little resaerch about this guy and found out a jug of whiskey might help my cause as well. The trucks they are cutting up for $50 each, they'll want you to pay $5000. | | |
