Sure wish we could post pics. I can't believe no one has removed this stuff over time. truck pics
There is a set of old reflectors and flares along with a lug wrench that fits the wheels. I don't know if the bottle jack would've been original. The voting ballot really blew me away as it is dated from 1952 when the truck was new. It has been laying under stuff under that seat for 59 years !!!

I know the police still use them to direct lane changes after a crash but I don't know if they are still available to the general public.

I was thinking I'd set up the reflectors and flares as props at shows, but I probably need to have them in an acrylic case to keep them in my possession.

***CAUTION**** I am not certain, but right after clicking the link "truck pics" my computer got a virus called Security Shield. The virus is difficult to remove and is designed to make you believe your computer is already full of other viruses.

***UPDATE*** Bigdreamer also had this happen to him so I think my word of caution is worth consideration.

I have had this virus before, it can hide in your computer for some time then appear. I had a tough time getting rid of it, the computer expert at my company finally fixed my computer. It infected many folders.

I opened webshots from my Mom's tonight to show my family and the same thing happened there. It must be an issue with webshots. I have Hitman Pro with Prevx for anti-virus and I haven't had it pop up on my computer. My Mom has MacAfee and I don't think it's very good.

Since it happened to Bigdreamer and me, I don't think I'm being an alarmist.

I'm certainly not trying to rain on this parade, just trying to help avoid viruses.

I finally got the Security Shield Virus off my computer after 2.5 hours of trying.

Hey, Bigdreamer, those are cool reflectors. I've never seen any like that before. And an original voting ballot. How cool is that?! Those will sure be neat to have at the shows with you!

Oh, and no virus things popped up on my computer. Maybe webshots got it fixed. ohwell

I too found some cool stuff. I found the original lug wrench, a screw type jack, and kerosene flares! Very cool. Never know what you're gonna find in these old girls!
