I believe you stick a philips screwdriver in a hole in the shift linkage, this aligns the shifter and you adjust the arms to fit? any advice?

It aligns all the shift levers in the neutral position. Then, make sure the trans shifters are all in the neutral detent, and adjust the shift rods to drop into the holes easily. Jerry

Im still trying to work out the fine details, but im putting a 427 in my 63 in the spring and a muncie m22. I plan to use the coloumn shift for 1-4 and install a gate shifter for reverse on the floor. | | |
