I cut the aroumor cable but it doesn't appear to be a way to replace the wire. I know someone out there has a trick of some kind. It's unnecessary and it's not difficult to rebuild one. You can pick up a replacement on ebay if you want to keep it original. If you don't care about original and just want a new wire post your e-mail addy & I'll send you a couple of pics along with a description on how to rewire your electrolock.
