Anyone know where I can find a patch panel for the LH toe board where the floor high beam light switch is located? '65 C10.

Get a piece of light metal and fab your own.

Toeboard is misleading, the dimmer switch is on the floorboard and along side the floorboard is the kick panel. A toeboard is found on a scaffold to keep things from rolling off.

Stan - see your assembly manual, on a vehicle the toeboard is the angled panel between the flat floorboard and the firewall [which the factory calls the "dash panel" inside], see here, floor and toe patches are availabe for 47.2-59, don't seem to be available for the 41-47 or the 60's trucks

also on a scaffold, the "toe board" can be called a kick board, helpful to keep you from stepping off the edge

Gosh, I love this site! You guys are the best. Bill, thanks, you are seeing what I was seeing, they call it the toe board. By the way before I bothered you guys I've looked at all of them, Jim Carter, LMC, Classic Parts, blaa, blaa, blaa....none of them have this section for the '65 truck. Why? I don't know because it seems to me that it is a perfect rust site.

I cut it out today because it is holding me up. Will see if Tony has something that can help.

Go to a wercking yard and cut one out from a old truck floor board. A simple fix.

... also Tractor supply has a bin where there is several types,or thicknesses in small sheets. If you can use that then use the otherwise shipping cost and buy it local....just a thought.

Don, I've called a bunch of yards locally and they all tell me they don't keep stuff that old anymore. (go figure) I could probably find one a few hours away in some of the yards but my guess is being from the Midwest they'll be just as rusted through as mine. I'll make the calls it is worth a try.

Achipmunk, my next move is to check with a few of the sheet metal contractors I know (HVAC ductwork companies) and see if one of their guys can fabricate something for me. I really want something that has the pressed impression for the dimmer switch that the original did. Maybe I'm being too picky, it's not like I'm doing everything totally original anyway. If not I can easily cut and bend something myself. It's the pressed in part that is hanging me up.
