Every time when starting the motor after being recently driven, the carb floods itself. It always starts with some excessive cranking and some floor stomping but it's beginning to become irritating. I'm sure it's a common problem but I'm not much of a carb guy. Thoughts on the matter? Thanks a lot! | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | TOO MUCH CARB! Plus the carb float is probably out of adjustment.
A 650 would be borderline too much too. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | It could be too much fuel pump pressure or heat is causeing the gas to percolate. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. I'll look up how to adjust it, I hope that's all there is too it. It has a stock fuel-pump on it so I assume it's not too much pressure. I might see about a rebuild kit first because it seems as though it leaks a little fuel out of it at times. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | Put a Quad on it and ENJOY driving it!...haha...just my opinion tho, Scott | | |
