It had been parked in that spot for about 4 years. It was still there until we moved. I agree about this being the best chevy truck site. I've been lurking for a while. Probably would still be lurking if Peggy hadn't said she'd need more snow/winter pics. I had just scanned that pic a couple weeks ago. It's the end of an era, for the first time in 26 years I'm not the owner of a truck. For many years when I was asked if my truck was for sale I would say no. I said no this time as well but added what would you offer me for it thinking it would be lower than I would go for to sale it. The offer was acceptable so the truck is gone and I watched it drive away. I'll miss driving it, but I won't miss all of the work that went into keeping it going as a daily driver. Who knows in a few years I may find another and not have to use it as a daily driver. I could have parked it and bought something very cheap to drive but the truck deserved to be restored and the new owner plans on doing that with his 2 sons. So I may check back in from time to time but I was never a heavy poster on here, I was here almost daily lurking and reading but would only post if I had something relevant to add.

However, be warned that the bug will bite you later on as life circumstances change. Just keep an eye out for the next one and perhaps, you'll find one that is "just what your looking for".
Also, don't make yourself a stranger. Once a bolter, always a bolters. A truck in not necessary to participate.
..and if ever in Spartanburg area look me up. I'm in the Boiling Springs phone book...Alvin Parris.
