What's the history on these?I've got a
high beam out on the panel,& always thought
the T3's looked cool.Is it worth spending
the money to buy a replacement?

if you're into looking cool or plan on being show-judged, fly at it - note there were different T3's over the years, so get the right ones

T3's are period correct headlights. Look at your old headlights and you would see "T3" printed in the glass part of the bulb.

Nice touch, but only the most discriminating eye, even knows what the are or that they are period-correct. I see them on eBay from time-to-time for around $80.00 per pair, so they are substantially more pricey, than their contemporary counterparts.

I wanted to use the T-3 but I'm running the relay for halogens so I will have a brighter headlights. Do they make T-3 in Halogen?

Look at the link above. You can get brand new higher intensity T-3's.
