Looks great. You have one of those type of projects that just about everyone wishes they had. What are your next plans?
Bill
Bill, thanks. This truck has really taken a hold of me. Been wrenching on it for a year, and there is still plenty to do, but in the short term, I want to drive it some!
I rebuilt the Hydra-Vac last week, installed it today, and discovered the carb was pouring gas out of it. I'm going to try and solve that issue tonight on my workbench.
The floors are bad in the cab, so over the winter those will be replaced and the drivers side of the bed needs some bondo work.
After, that she'll be "done" in the sense that I'd be able to drive it all summer. It has a 292 six in it with an SM420 trans and single speed rear. Ideally I'd like to find one of the old auxillary transmissions or a Spicer 5-speed OD for it.
I really like the way the dually rear tires look on it.
Thanks for all the good words guys, I'm proud to have this very unique truck!
