First and foremost - this is a great site! I recently became the owner of a nice 38 Chevy. The previous owner did not want to fool with it any more. It was restored several years ago and had been neglected for some time. Tranny was shot, brakes screwed up, engine barely running. Truck is all original steel (except tailgate) with 43,000 actual miles. Still has 216 (with insert bearings), 6 volt, and enclosed driveshaft. Truck was originally purchased right here in the Tri-Cities area. I am the third owner of Ol'Blue. Been spending time trying to get it back in shape - and it has been a lot of fun! I see how we are "never done" with these trucks! Thanks for lookin'.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Nice looking truck!! My Dad had a 38 once. It wasn't NEARLY as nice as that one, and it went down the road before I was old enough to have a say about it.

Welcome to Stovebolt!!
