Our newest toy is a "1942 CHEVY 1/2 TON PICKUP" It is all original right down to the paint, the motor a 216 with matching numbers, with rare 18" high clearence wheels. This truck went from asembly line straight to the U.S.ARMY. It was in the Army for its first 8 years then a Gentelman from UTAH purchased it. He had it for almost 60 yrs. before passing. We are very fortunate to find the small piece of history. As soon as I figure out how to send you a pic I will get some to yall we want to share our find with all.

Welcome texman. When you say this is your 'newest' toy, are you implying that you have a yard full of other trucks?

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
