I have disc's on all four corners & a firewall mounted booster/proportioning valve. Problem is the front brakes are sticking. Bled the brakes last week and have good pedal pressure but the front brakes don't seem to be disengaging. Any ideas?

Try pushing the piston back into its bore. it should go in with very little force. If it doesn't, loosen the bleeder. If it goes in free, then the hoses are the culprit.

An over-adjusted pushrod will retain pressure to the front brakes, being the first circuit to activate, resulting in overheating and subsequent expansion/binding. You also don't want to boil your brake fluid. 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr. "Thats the third lil goofy chrome booster in a year and a half" It's getting a little better but they are still giving me trouble. But... Im sure getting better at pulling that master cylinder... (keep the wrench's in my glove box) Keep us informed on what you came up with ! Todd Some people are like Slinkies, Their not really good for nothing... All components were new, including the hoses and calipers. It has sat up however for a number of years as I piddled with it. As I mentioned before I just swapped out the M/C recently. It's the same style but it came with a proportioning valve. I think the calipers have gone bad from sitting so long. Just bought a set to install but got side tracked by my dog. He got out of the yard yesterday morning and was missing all day. He came back home that evening and was is awful shape. Looks like he was attacked by a pit or two. There are huge chunks missing from all four legs with his back legs being the worst. His face is all torn up as well. Gotta play doc for awhile.

Assuming you're happy with the M/C you maybe right about the caliper pistons sticking.
I try to make a habit of pumping the brake pedal every few days,as mine has been sitting for a while too. This will hopefully avoid the same problems you seem to be having. 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr.
