I'm putting my springs back together. Where can I get the get the metal & rubber wraps that hold the leaves together?

Maybe my truck is to old, what are these rubber wraps on your springs like???

It is a metal band with a rubber pad under it. They rust away or get left of during spring maintanence work. Over time, the leaves in the spring shift side to side unless they have something to keep them stacked atop each other. The bands hold the leaves in alignment.

I've never been to a spring shop. Sounds like a plan. Thanks

Head over to KC Spring, they are down on 16 or 17th street in Kansas City. They have been there since the '20s. Joe
