Why are you replacing the lock? He had all my 4 locks good as new in an hour. (They were BAD) He had boxes and boxes of old locks and all the blank keys you could ever need for any GM till the newest style began. (About 1400 different keys, all numbered) Best of all, he didn't charge for advice and info on anything.

I have a locksmith here in town (been there for years). While the "going rate" for working on an old lock appears to be around 20-25 bucks this locksmith fixed and keyed all mine for $7.50 each.... and as someone said, he seemed to enjoy working on the ones he remembered quite well.
