I pulled the head and piston out and number 3 looks good, but found a piece of metal which is a part to what....on top of number 4. Pulled the #4 piston and it all looks good. I am posting a link to see if anyone can identify the part found on top of #4. Any ideas? The piece is about the size of a dime. http://rides.webshots.com/album/575627503AxGkrc

Or are the valves beat beyond recognition? It's hard to tell from the photo what size that thing is. For it to find its way into the cylinder from outside, it has to be small enough to fit through a intake valve....that's not much room.
It's not a throttle plate or a choke plate is it?

Looks to me to be the remains of a bottle cap.
