what is the best aftermarket carbrator to put on a 235 just for a daily driver

The best, would probably be the factory original one, but lots of others carbs would work fine. You can rebuild yours or buy a rebuilt one from Chevs of the 40s, may be the way to go if you want to keep thing original. Also Langdon's stovebolt has more modern carb adaptable to your motor.

thanks i have read a lot on here about the old rochesters leaking i guss thats ok if your not driveing alot but i plan on building a driver i also have thought about useing a diffrent intake and header to help it breath a little better maybe help milage a little also do you have any ideas on that
