From Jeff :

I just got my 1950 Chevy 1/2-ton. It is in ok shape. I want to restore it the best I can. I don't want a show truck. I want something I can use (I have horses) and drive. I like show trucks, but that's just not me.

About six months ago, on my way home from work, I found this old Advance Design truck sitting along the road with a "For Sale" sign. It had been a farm truck years back. It has just been setting for some time.

I have no name for the truck yet. I was thinking of naming it after my dog that I had to have put to sleep after 18 years. He was a great dog.

I do plan on doing most of the work myself.

I have a 1985 GMC 6.2 diesel I pull the bIg trailer wIth. I thought about getting a small two horse trailer and pulling it with the 1950 sometimes, just when I go on short trips.
