My information pack was a bunch of photocopied sheets giving all the specifications for the various AMERICAN models. No Canadian numbers. All that information is available on-line or elsewhere.
The only thing worthwhile was the actual data sheet pertaining to my particular truck which listed when and where it was built and the colours and trim. It also said that only a few thousand of this model were made which is highly questionable. GM has stopped giving away that packet. Use to all you had to do was call the 800 number and give them your Vin number. I got a couple from them my self not long ago.
They DO NOT do this anymore. The last word I got was you could still get it but not from them and it will cost you $50 in USA. As oldble49 says...its just a bunch of photo copied stuff and a list of "approved vendors". Most all the info is available else where for free.
I might also mention the ATHS..."the Antique Truck Historical Society that is located in Missouri, or at least one of their places. Contact them and they may help you with what you need. I visited the place a couple weeks ago and they are nice folks trying to protect and keep the historical stuff. Mention to them your a Stovebolter as they are familiar with us touring their place each year.
