So, I'm thinking I need to add some hydraulic fluid. Got the bed up and securely propped. Then excavated all the gunk to find a fill plug ... with no luck. Where in the heck do you add the oil? The only fill plugs I see seem too low. Sorry for the silly question... Some pictures: The pump: http://hubcap.clemson.edu/~willys/pump.jpg The cylinder: http://hubcap.clemson.edu/~willys/cyl.jpg Thanks for any advice... -Dan | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | It's the plug on top of the cylinder. Add some fluid and let the hoist down without the plug to be sure it's not over filled, Scott

If water has gotten in, it will look like chocolate milk, not good! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 15 | Thanks, guys ... I felt pretty dumb for not just looking under that cover. Fluid looked like dirty oil (not water) and new fluid made things work fine. The pump leaks a little bit, but that's another project...
