Now I am trying to identify everything. I have the motor (250 #F0918TAB) but having trouble w/trans & rear end. Trans is not orginal, it came w/three on tree. All I can find is GM 4 casting # is 3901127 & has granny low. Not sure about the rear end, is 12 bolt NF #3896838.Any help you can give a rookie would be grateful. Thanks

I don't have GM's parts list but your transmission is likely a SM465. You could try asking this question in the engine and driveline forum.
