| | | | Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 453 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 453 | I ordered new "U" shaped brackets for my leaf springs and it came with the rivots needed to hold them in place. Can I just drill out the old rivots? Also, is heat needed to put on the new ones? Or do I just smash the rivot end with a hammer making sure the end is flush against the leaf? If so...is there special tools needed for this?
