You can get these at ACE hardware, I believe. I can't remember but I think those might have originally been "cage nuts" like pictured HERE. but I don't recall seeing then at the hardware store. Mine had nuts welded in the door panel similar to cage nuts. I think the modern u-nuts would suffice. I had clutch head screws holding the lower panel, and phillips head screws in the upper (cardboard) panel. (I think they were added later in the truck's life.) Here's a photo of the door before I put the covers on, but you can't see much even zooming the photo to 300%. More like a flanged nut that's permanently mounted, but not welded. It appears that they are an OEM supplier not a retail outlet, probably couldn't buy less than 10000 at a time.
McMaster is a retailer and would handles some of those style nuts but not a full line of them.
