Fire,
Install the wipers BEFORE ya put the windows in ...trust me , I found out the hard way.
I totally forgot bought em till I had the windows in an it was a BEOTCH to get em in afterwards.
had to use silicon spray and a dental pick to grab em an drag em in ...it stunk!

Ya have to order them from LMC or Classic, they just slide in with a little lube in that channel and basicaly just keep themselves in there once installed.
They just look like an xtra windshield wiper blade with a thick back edge that slides in the groove and locks itself in place.
YUP these old trucks can be fun!...lol..waited for another weekend myself on a parts order for little things like the wipers, so I guess ya best get an order in an get a pair before ya proceede as the glass at its lowest point stick up just enough to cover the groove and make you have a bad day.

Tim

32fire2: What Tim Says!!! heck, I stripped the doors but put the little wipers in before I took it to the body man. Sure didn't want to forget those little booogers!!
NOTE: there is a correct way to put those in. One way the "lip" will point down....I installed mine with the lip/edge point up. I honestly don't know which is correct but I thought I used good commom since smile
Just look at the bead that slides in the little groove and you can see what I'm talking about.
To put them in I sprayed the track and the rubber with a little WD40. There is a little "cut out" right in the center of the track and I put one end of the wiper in and slide it back as far as it would go...then I put the other end of the wiper in, at the middle, and slide it back. The cutout is just wide enough to do it that way so you don't have to try cram it all in from one point!....ok, i've beat this simply procedure to death so just use good common sense smile

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
