Now I am trying to figure out how the door stops bolt to the body and the doors. No matter how I orient them I can't get them to look like the pics in the service manual. I got them off of a 51 panel in a junkyard and maybe they don't fit on a burb. Can anyone out there in Bolterland help out with advice or pics? Weeds, I sent you a picture of the two different styles. It has a half-way stop and a full open stop (perhaps to allow backing up to a loading dock, etc). 1950-1955 Suburban rear panel-door stop. It stops at one position. (During Advance-Design years, rear panel-doors became available in 1950). Looks like i have burb ones on my panel and they seem to work ok.
So yours should work but if they don't or if you just want the right ones email me @ jos41chevy@hotmail.
