I found this website called: Jim Carter Antique truck parts. He seems to have almost anything for a 1935-1940 truck. The catalogue doesn`t show prices so I don`t know how reasonable he is. Can someone tell me what he is like? Thanks,Darcy

Yes, I've bought from Jim Carter. He's a good vendor. If you want prices, go to his website: www.oldchevytrucks.com

Not only is he a good vendor, he has been around for a long time, he listed in the Links section, and he often offers discounts to members/donors of these forums.

If you want prices, click on the item number and the price will show up in the shopping cart.

Jim Carter is a big supporter of 'Bolters, the hobby and this web site. Mike Taylor, who works for Jim, is a very good friend and is a regular contributor to the site.

You can't go wrong there.

Regards,
John

They have been my primary supplier for around 15 years. Personally met Jim, Mike and Lisa while at the stovebolt reunion. All nice folks. Make a donation to the 'Bolt and enjoy your discount. They also offer us "special discounts" at times.

One thing not mentioned is they only charge ACTUAL shipping which can say you a ton of $$.

Jim Carters is great. If it werent for me needing something sooner, Id probably order almost everything I need from them. Never had a problem with an order and like mentioned above, they dont jerk you around on shipping prices.
