Measure the size of the cannister to determine if you need the tall filter (somewhere around 8" tall) or the small filter (around 4-5").
These old filters can be picked up off the shelf at Napa for $8-10. Ill look around and see if I can come up with the part number. You may also be able to take the old filter out of the cannister and look for a number on the side of the filter.

They may also want to know the engine size (216, 235, etc.) Like rustednuts said, about $10. I have restored over 30 of these canisters, if you have any questions on paint, oil line fittings or decals, don't hesitate to give out a shout.
