Needed to get a set of these for a buddy's truck. The ones that seal the ball housing to the transmission. In the past I have bought rubber ones but all the suppliers now tell me they can only get cork like the originals.
Anyone have another source? There is a Fel-Pro number listed by some of these suppliers but it is not good.

Did you try American Classic? When I did my tranny rebuild, I bought their kit for the longbed and the ball seals were rubber.

Will try them. I emailed Jim Carter 3 days ago with a question about the material but never received an answer.

Bill, try Felpro #ES 72843

That kit has the various shim gaskets and the rubber seal that slips into the joint and compresses around the torque tube.
