Man you should be proud of that. Great job. Here in CA a lot of people would have junked that truck but a true hobbyist can see through the rust and dents. Joe

That is an outstanding job. You've done it right and should be proud. Make sure you keep taking pictures, lots and lots of pictures. The ones of the snow and then to see what you have now helps folks understand just how much of a sicko' you really are. Any of the family offer to help you get into therapy yet? Don't worry...with professional therapy and the proper medications, you'll get over this some day. Again, congratulations on a job well done.

Thanks for all the kind words. I like to think of my condition as a disease! I have had some interesting conversations with people that drove the same kind of truck years ago.

Well Fred my boy, I’ve only been following you for a little under two years and I gotta say, that is one fine bit of work you’ve done there. When I look at what some of you guys have to go through to get your Stovebolt back on the road I’m absolutely amazed that they ever get finished.
So Fred, now that you got it in primer, what color are you going to paint it??? (tisk, tisk)
Really, I’m sitting here at breakfast with my (big old wife) and showing her the before and after pics that I printed out for the reference file, and she just said, “You have to be sort of an archeologist to see the potential in something like that, what a difference.”
A big double thumbs up buddy!!!!

What a job after looking at the before pics it blows me away the restoration you have done here...I guess that shows how much we Canadians really know what we're doing...Great Job Fred ..Peter from the west coast...
