There use to be a place here that would cut flat glass for old vehicles but they closed up many years back. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | wasat: I believe just about any glass place that carries it will be able to cut it. For my 37 I checked out a place that cut mirrors and plate glass for stores.....turns out they did a lot of auto glass as well. Take in your old glass for a pattern. If you do not have one I think JimCarter sells the pattern(??) For the side windows I took my old ones over there and they took the old glass out and put in the new glass for me. ###Be sure they mark the position of the glass in the piece it fits in so the new glass goes back in exactly the same place or you may end up with it in where it will not roll up to fit the door just right. Hope this helps.
EDIT: I just noticed your in S.C. If you have a Kaspasi around close I know they do it. Hey, are you close enough to come to a stovebolt gathering of US LOCALS in Spartanburg JUNE 14th??

The glass shop had the original type glass in stock, and it was tinted also...I took in one side of the windshield, one door glass, and the back glass...It all fit great.. Bill B | | |
