What does an 'ORIGINAL' Hubcap Look Like for this style and year of truck?

Send me your pics of your hubcap(s). [email protected]

I am thinking it is the cone shaped hubcap. This is the style of hubcap that goes on the Custom Fleetside Apache 10 1961 Chevy Truck. The hubcap should be the one that uses the clips and does not clip over the humps on the wheel.

Or if you know of a website that has pics, send me the link.

Thank you ahead of time for your help.

if by "cone shaped" you mean this style - no, that was 57-60 only .... there's a few 61's in the gallery with original caps, like this one, and I believe they actually don't use the clips, it just took GM a couple years to stop adding them to the wheels, and quite a few more years to stop adding the holes for the clips

Mine is a 62 and has the same hubcaps as the truck in the '61 link from red58. The wheels have 6 clips each.

I am thinking it is the cone shaped caps. I have seen these on more 61's than the other caps.

The last year for clips was 1964.

Keep sending more pics of trucks you see.

I have seen every single picture of the 61's in the gallery. Oh Yeah they look great!

Thanks everyone.

Here is what it looks like so far. I am waaaaaaaaaaaaay off from completion.

Hi, I also have the dome shaped caps. The other ones wouldnt fit on my standard rims so had to go for the dome shapes that accepts the clips. Bought them new from classicparts and is very happy with the quality. It was a GM restoration part. I have the later style hood so it is something I have to live with. Wont be able to find a jet pod here in Africa!

By the way your truck looks good. Enjoy the refurbishment.

That truck is great looking. Never seen a right hand steer on that model.

Thanks for the post.
