From Randy :

This is my 1958 Fleetside shorty -- "Thor." I got this one close to home. This was just another one I could not pass up. We call this truck "Thor" -- the license plate helped us to pick out this name. The plate was from the state of MO -- 573 THO. The truck kinda looked like it might have been born from the "land of the ice and snow" -- kinda Viking looking'ish to us. Thor seems to be a good Viking name anyway. I think Thor was god of thunder in Norse mythology. And to just look at the front of this truck looks like it should be thunderous.

This truck has the original 235 and three on the tree setup. It runs and drives great! I just had to put a couple of new brake lines on it and re-wire the lighting and all worked good.

This is by far one of my favorite trucks to drive. Not too many like this one around these parts. I have kept everything original on it so far, and will keep it original too.

The only thing is that I hate the color. Maybe paint is in the future.

See y'all at the All Truck Nationals in Riverside, MO.
