But you know I think if I had good replacement parts it would be done now. It looks like to me All PARTS are just as bad or worse then the old ones. And then you have to return the things only after someone on the other end tells you are nuts. will send some pix just as soon as I can get my grandson to help. The only reason I work a part time job is to finance the truck. I too have "hit the wall" in this endeavor but managed to work through it. The closer I get to being finished the more I feel like working on it and it's almost done. Like I said hang in there. It WILL happen. Weeds | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 | Seems to me we all have "walls" at different times. I have had my 49 for about ten years and have encountered about three- four "walls' that caused me to pause for a year or so. Once I renegaged the wall that I didn't know how to accomplish weren't that tough.Like toomany 2 count I have had "bourbon" running and have driven on 4-5 occasions which is a huge emotional lift even if it is just around the block. With any luck 2008 will find an inspection tag and license plate on the old gal. Keep plugging and you will make it.

Years ago I saw a dark green Sub and wanted it in the worst way. It came up for sale and was gone as was my dream. I found one about 4 years ago and its been in my mind ever since. It has a great grille! But is going to need a lot of work every where else. Hang in there you'll eventually get er done! Weeds, I have a couple of questions for you, Where did you get the rear cab corners? Both of mine are shot and need to be replaced. Is there anywhere to get rear fenders? I assume an AD pickup is different. You have pictures of your body lifted in the air, any idea what the body weighs? What size ceiling joists are you lifting on, or do you have extra support?
