but heres the catch....
i still want to keep the column shift setup. has this ever been attempted? is it at all possible? I know the simplest way around this type of an add on is to cut up my floor and throw in a floor shift, but thats too easy isn't it? any experience in this arena? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | I see no problem with using the original column shifter. You might need some parts form the '67-'72 to hook it up if the arm/levers are different, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I got the large diameter rods, so I had to heat and bend, but it didn't take very long to get them to the point the adjusters got them right, Scott | | |
