For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 | I have a '46 1/2 ton and i have changed over the engine to a 235 late model. I'm trying to add a 420 4speed and am having trouble getting the brake and clutch pedals to work with it. Does anyone make a bracket to make this work easy? How about some pictures of what you may have done? Cecil............ The pedals mount to the bellhousing the same way and come up trough the floor the same way, but the master cylinder mounts to the frame, using a rod and clevis, and a lever and another rod and clevis to activate the master cylinder. It sounds complicated, but it gives you more room for the master cylinder... the sm420 is apretty wide transmission. It would be a good time to upgrade to a dual master at this time as well. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 | Thanks guys.
