Ive been searching for rebuilt 235 engines.
Ive checked the swap meet, ebay and such... running out of ideas.

My question is - Are there Companies in the States where I could buy a 235 which has been rebuilt already and would have some sort of Warranty?

PS This distance is a real turn down.

I don't know if there are companies that specialize in rebuilding 235's like there are with the popular V8's, but I know with the help of someone here in the states, you can get a good 235 built by a machine shop and shipped overseas.

If you run out of options, I'll see what I can do to help you. Typically, a machine shop won't have as much of a warrantee, if any, but these motors are stone reliable. I run one myself in my 1952 GMC pick up.

Our 37 1/2 ton Chevrolet is in the States. In Virginia so it doesnt have to be shipped here to Finland. It sure will help in shipping charges.

The reason being is Im trying to purchase all parts needed before getting it here. One thing is we have time. No set date for shipping yet even though all is ready. Meaning Transport.

Id just like to get a clean, low mileage engine
for it... and Im stuck. Cant afford to by one in the blind sort of speak and find out it junk.
So your help is indeed welcomed or anyone else on the bolt pages.

Call Jasper engines. They have high quality
remans with an exceptional warranty. They will
ship in the USA no additional cost.

Don't exclude a nice low mileage 261 as your first choice. A few extra cubes and it fits right in. Make a 54 or later 235 your second choice. You have quite a network of people here. I bet something could be found and added to your truck.

I agree with Tony M, look for a 261 if possible. More torque and everything fits like a 235.

Classic Fin, I am about an hour's drive away from Windsor, Colorado. It is straight north on I-25.

It looks like there are some sources for 235's or 261's...but I'll keep a lookout for one. I do know someone I can ask. I'll check into that too.

Have you checked Jasper? I had a garage look at my 54 1/2 ton 235 when I had compression problems and they offered me a deal on a Jasper rebuilt short block. I just did the head and things were fine, so I never looked into it. They never mentioned a price, but Jasper used to be pretty reasonable.

A long block 216/235 for $1,300 that seems reasonable. I wonder if they actually have them in stock. I didn't see any 261's.

235 6 cyl.
I'm in the process of restoring my '53 6400 dump (pics in the Gallery), & was hoping someone could clue me in as to the original engine colors.
Were the commercial Loadmaster engines painted differently than the Thriftmaster 6 cyls.?
