Some joker cut speaker holes in my doors before I bought the truck and now I'd like to weld in some replacement metal before I start painting.
Any ideas?

The one show in their catalog shows it as it should be. Most doors have good inner panels in the salvage yard. | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 662 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 662 | I made patch panels to cover my speaker holes. Used an old pushrod as a form and hammered the metal around it to make the groove. Groove it, then cut to size. I can't even tell they've been patched. | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 85 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 85 | NM51, my 46 doors were the same, with holes. Check the pictures of what I did to cover my door skins. I used pvc,3/8 closed cell foam and tweed material. http://community.webshots.com/user/46metal | | |
