Got the gearbox no problem, got the pump, no problem, got the barckets-BIG PROBLEM. Alternator mounts on the left side, pump goes under it. I have 3 sets of brackets, nothing works. Motor is 307 with no bolt holes in the heads.Anyone have any ideas or pictures? My 71 C-30 hangs off a boss on the water pump. But that will cause you to have to change all your pulleys. You may want to visit some wrecking yards and see if you can find a complete drive system. buying pieces can get frustrating for sure get one that is complete. Patton | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,379 Crusty Old Sarge | | Crusty Old Sarge Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,379 | The P/S pump on my 68' 327 mounted to the front of the block, 2 holes just above the oil pan next to the timing cover. The rear of the pump mounts to the first hole on the side motormount. A mount off of mid 60's engine should work well, you may have to do some digging in the wrecking yards to find one. Good luck!

That is one of the set-ups I have but the pump sits way too far forward when I when put it on. Do you have "long or short" water pump? How many pulleys on the crank?
This shouldn't be this hard, I just feel like I'm missing something simple.
