My German is a little rusty.. and I speak it better than I read it.. but I gather that it's a frame off resto with a custom built 260HP V8.. has some kind of Air Ride system that lets you lower and raise the truck, and apparently it's been in movies and on television.

It's a little rich for my blood.. and the first thing i'd have to do if it was mine is peel those stupid stickers off it, and put a normal steering wheel and column shifter on it.

an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

Hey Frank, I thought modern seats and small steering wheels were for Americans grin

Would that be 60 kilo-euros? $90,000 US is a little rich for my blood. I could get a leak-proof carburetor at that price.

I guess its value is based on it being a "movie star." I wonder what TV/film it was in, German Graffitti?

Belive it or not. It`s over 70k Euros now!

It was never in a movie. The guy that owns it is a nothing but an TV-Cook!

They sell it for some benefit thing. I guess that (and the TV-Chef) is the reason why it goes up and up.

At the same time you can buy at least 5 beautiful stock to mild done 40s and 50s GMC/Chevy trucks on german Ebay for 15k.

It's not a '48 GMC. Looks more like a '51.
