Kroil and PB Blaster are both excellent. We use Kroil to dismantle boiler and running gear parts on steam locomotives. PB Blaster is no slouch either. Both penetrate way better than liquid wrench.

WD-40 is not intended for use freeing rusted nuts and bolts, etc.

A torch (when you can use it & not burn your garage to the ground) then PB Blaster after it cools a bit. The torch expands the metal, breaking the rust loose & the PB finishes the job.

On rusted nuts that you can't use a torch on a nut cracker works great if you don't care about losing the nut. Most of the time a cracker will not harm the bolt or stud.

I use Brake Free by Dupont. You get it a gun stores. Even Walmart has it in their gun section.
But forget the sissy stuff. Get yourself the longest breaker bar you can (1/2 inch) Craftsman is about $25. Worth it. Nothin will stop you. It will snap the bolt shaft. and thats OK. Was too rusted to save anywise. wink

Before you spray anything on the bolt/nut try to heat it red hot, then keep spraying water on it, the water will boil off at first til it cools, then try to unscrew it. repeat if necessary. Use this method before spraying any kind of lubricant or store bought stuffon it! Works like a charm most of the time.
