Wanted to introduce ourselves, and our great truck, recently acquired.

Peggy just posted our photos and story on the Gallery page - Meet Cleo - thanks, Peggy!

We've already met a few of you, when we asked a question about seat belts.

We're looking forward to a long, slow restoration and lots of great camaradarie here on Stovebolt.

Desert_Rose: Welcome to our wonderful sight. The neat thing here besides the guys is there are ladies here just as excited as you are about yours. You'll get to meet them!

Looks like a heck of a find and good luck!

welcome...

hmn, I think I'd just touch up the paint with some basic black so that it would match better... then drive it a lot. smile

I agree about the paint, Woogeroo. I'd like to simply refurbish the existing original paint to make it look as good as possible, then enjoy the patina.

And Bubba, thanks for your offer; I'll definitely get in touch if I need a parts source.
