I am looking for a new, probably flowmaster exhaust for my truck. I have a 65 c10 longbed with a 350 transplant. it looks just like this. . . http://patricks-63-chevytruck-restoration.20megsfree.com/images/65_yellow.jpg
I can't seem to find the right exhaust, any help?

The best way to get exhaust on these trucks is to take it to a mom & pop muffler shop. They will put on any mufflers you choose or let you bring them in. 2" pipes fit that model real good & sound great but if you have a high performance engine you may want 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 in. pipes. I just had my 55 with 350 done wih 2" pipes & glasspacks. It sounds real cool. A little rumble on the outside but quiet inside.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

It will need to be made custom like George says. With the trailing arms and panhard bar and brakelines in the way, it needs to be done by a good custom bender. If you can't buy your mufflers from the benders' shop, ask which configuration they would like the mufflers in before hand. A lot of stores sell the Flowmasters now, you'll just have to take the correct ones in with you,

I just got new dual exhaust with glasspacks from this place in town and they did the worst job. my left side tire rubs on the pipe and it touches the bottom of my cab, so im gonna take it back and make him do it right.

65C10,

I don't know what part of Denver you're in, but I've had pretty decent luck with Exhaust Pro's in Northglenn, and Commerce City.

Or if you're remotely close to Brighton, I know an old time radiator/exhaust guy that does real good work for real reasonable prices.

He split the manifold and put duals w/glasspacks on my 46 for just over $250.

After having the exhaust mad 2 times in 2 years by 2 different shops (each charged me 600$ and I brought the mufflers, bows and pipes in)I bought me a brand new 100$ pipe bending machine and did it my self.

Only the mufflers had to be welded in (a friend did it for a 6-pack since I´m not a big welder).

The pipes (duals) from the exhaust to the mufflers are one peace now and flow smooth under the car.
Same are the tailpipes.

If you have such a machine you don`t need all those expensive bows and welding and you can make any angle at every place. smile

Working with the bending machine is a snap and you can make them pipes follow the form of your floor/frame in a smooth and organic way . I´m sure they sell them in the US too.
