I call my truck, "the truck". Not to be mistaken for "the dumptruck". Then I have "the four door" and "the two door". I also have "the boat". I guess not very inventive. Oh, I forgot "the mower". Later tonight I might ride "the bike".

All of the cars that I've ever driven has their own personality. The Olds is pretty laid back, and it takes whatever, but if it doesn't want to do something, it'll let you know. The truck is just a balky old b!tch. shifting is a chore, steering is rough as hell, it never wants to do anything, and even after rewiring the whole truck to get the lights to work, if it doesn't want to run, it'll randomly drain teh battery or short out the lights.

The "Big '49" (the 4400 you see at the top of this page) is "Big Red" or "That collection of parts in the shop."
Our dump truck was "Bucky" after Bucky Dent (for obvious reasons, as well as for the ride...)
And da Cummins Dodgebolt be "Paniolo" 'cause it one bad horse hauler, brah.
