I can't picture doing all of this work and having some really cheap looking plastic outlets attached to the bottom of the dash. Your evaporator goes behind your dash. I'm thinking about just mounting the evaporator under the seat and having the vent outlets blow up the back window by my neck.

I cant even think of another way other than cutting holes out of the sides of the dashboard then use a 1956-7 Chevy Bel-Air air-conditioner vent. Mount them to the dashboard and paint them to match the dash. Oh Well .... I have an original dash and interior the outlets dont look that bad. He mounted a thin underdash unit pointed straight up. Had to do a little fab work to make the drain work & he used a unit w/a square evaporator. He says it works well, is quiet, but that some folks gotta feel it to think it is working right. | | |
