We have some good theme ideas, including use of "before" and "after" truck images. Even thought of a play on words with "garage kept" ... hasn't left it! Forget the IRWIPI theme (although we can do that, too).
If you have other ideas (and photos), feel free to post here but also send the images to HQ direct email. Keep in mind different holidays and seasons when sending in those shots.
We had some good submissions for the 2023 calendar and ... ah hem, we got a very late start. Like DECEMBER.
We have figured out the programs so we should be able to get cranking on them relatively soon. We want to try some different things. But first: we need the images.
HERE ARE the old guidelines for the photos. But we may not need to be that stringent. We'll tell you how they work out.

Kevin, Can you add the thumbnail (AM) here as well as this link? Thanks.

Edited my post. You're welcome to use "Mater" if you'd like too.

Here is my calendar entry...taken this past July at the Gilmore Car Museum while attending the VCCA Central Meet. Using a theme around old gas stations, or old buildings in general, may be an idea that gains traction.
Your '48 has been a staple in our calendars for many years. That green truck has been a go-to for fall! Now, we have a new theme for it! Classic!
lumberslayer:
Great. Another quaint garage! And more fall colors. Very good.
Thanks for the submissions!
Peg

Yeah, mostly. It was getting ready for a V8 when I looked at it. Maybe a 52 or 53.

Looks like a '51 with the vent wing and turn down handle. At least the door does.
You're right Mark. I was relying on memory and didn't zoom in on the pic to see that. Also, it was before I knew about the differences between years for AD trucks. As a matter of fact it was before I even knew what AD stood for.

The image of my pick-up for consideration in using for a calendar. The pic was taken 27 Apr 2023.

Here are two pics of me and the 54 3100.First was 35 years ago, about 1988. It sat in the shop collecting dust from 1996 until 2022 when I got it going again. The second shot was taken this past spring at the exact spot as the first pic.

Jethro, it look like neither you or the truck have weathered that well.

Ma'am, 1948 Chevrolet 3100 photos taken October 1993 for consideration of the before/after calendar. You have a pic of the after already. They were shot on the back field of my step fathers/mom small parcel homestead, which the pick-up sat inside a garage for 15 years before hauling it back down to MD to work the restoration seriously. That field is on the edge of the 100,000 acres of the New Jersey Pinelands that comprise 22% land mass of NJ. Thanks Peg. V/r, Nick or "NJC"
Yea hoo! Looks like it's gonna be a weekend to start on these! Thanks all ....

Don't really have any "before" or "after" pics per se, as neither of my trucks have changed that much since I got them. But if any of my gallery pics suit your purpose, feel free to use them. I also have other pics of both trucks. If you have something specific in mind, PM me and I'll see what I can come up with.
Looks like you've got plenty for a "truck as a truck" theme. And then some.

Jason - sure. AAMOF, I was thinking of you (and the guys in Project Journals) for one of the composite calendar images. Kind of a "Work in Progress" kind of theme. Another theme (prompted by your posts) is one with "The Next Generation" ... I really like the idea of your daughter working with you.
We have some neat images of legacy trucks. Actually, plenty of theme ideas and now that my computer is back up and working, I'm anxious to put a few more together. I've got an It Ran When I Parked It ready to finish this weekend. I'll post those calendar pages here. I'll add the ODSS here, too. That computer *issue* really was a monkey wrench for me.
Back at it now!
