Good job Scott! It's a 55 1st series COE. 55COE I'm owner number three, the first was the Arco tank company in Springfield, MO the second was the yard I bought it from. It actually came from your neck of the woods. I bought Greg Pate's truck and Jeff (iowa-trucks-59) and I went after it. I can't wait to get started on it. I may have to come over and see it when we come down for the truck show. Is it a original 5100 series, or has it been shortened. The one where a semi chased him around. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 469 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 469 | Looks like the old Chevy is smiling. I bet that old truck turned some heads going up HWY 13 even if it was on a trailer. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 86 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 86 | I think the movie name was "Duel"

The movie was "Duel" with Dennis Weaver. Stephen Spielberg's first attempt at directing.

Also I've got brakes on the trailer and a controller on the burb. The burb pulled the big load no problem for about 6 hours. (That project's been going good) Jarred: The burb is a 89 GMC SLE bought if from my neighbor specifically to haul my swap meet swag, and tow old trucks. I'm actually riding in it right now with the trailer on the back, my buddie is driving and we're heading down to Springfield, MO to the swap and then on to Joplin to the HAMB Drags where I'm towing a 34 Ferd Coupe back home for another buddie. The burb/trailer combo get's lot's of use. MONGO | | |
