It compensates for when the rear end switches from high to low so the mph will be correct. The diaphram is rotten and I cant find anyone who carries these, and I even contacted Stewart Warner and they say its unavailable.Any Ideas? By the way, this site has been the best thing to happen with my restoration project! You might be able to find that part by going to an older truck repair place. Seems like to me that this bladder is similar to one used in air brake systems.
